 Hello, this is VOX Teen Communications, over. Today, we VOXers got to experience what it would be like to make our voices heard in another way, radio. Joe Hirsch from Youth Radio helped get us thinking about issues that really matter to us. Our ideas ranged from getting burned while grilling to expressing yourself through fashion. |
 We were able to write a 1:15 minute piece about our issue for a chance to be aired on 90.1FM WABE. This is a huge opportunity and a great way for us to reach an audience that we wouldn’t normally be speaking to. To get the middle-aged white man thinking about issues that matter to us teens, even if it is only one time a week, is huge. Fortunately, this opportunity isn’t just for VOX teens.
