Ways to Make Girls Fall Head Over Heels for You

10. Memorize every detail about us. We’re talking even the small stuff, such as our favorite brand of toothpaste or lip gloss. That way if we need you to pick up something for us at the store, there won’t be a second trip back.

9. Sing to us. Well, this only applies if you have the angelic voice of Omarion or Usher. Otherwise, keep your vocal chords to yourself.

8. Pay for us. As cliché as that seems, going Dutch is the male excuse for being cheap and a girl’s excuse for trying to prove she is independent. Don’t cop out gentlemen; after all, we deserve it.

7. Take us star gazing on a cold night. There are few things more romantic than the stars. They set the mood and give you the opportunity to lean in for the first kiss. If you get lucky, we’ll forget our jackets and need you to keep us warm.

6. Don’t embarrass us in public. If we wanted that, we would have dragged our siblings along on the date.

5. Tell us right away if you did something wrong. Girls are very forgiving: We’ll just use it against you when our next argument flares up.

4. Remember that girls never say what they mean. If we say “yes,” it means absolutely not. It might take awhile to get the hang of this “opposite speak,” but it won’t matter because we’ll yell at you even if you got it right.

3. Show us you care. And no, we don’t mean asking us to have sex with you. We want you to be our knights in shining armor. If someone makes a rude remark to us, defend us! Don’t sit there looking like an idiot! We want to know you are proud to be with us!

2. Don’t flirt with other girls. And you better watch who you are giving “The Eye” to. That eye just might wind up decorated with a bruise.

1. Tell us you love us — and mean it. Everyone wants to be loved, and as crazy as we girls are, we want to be loved even more.
