Girls
10. Do wear leggings if you think that it’s too hot for pants, but ...
9. Don’t wear leggings without a reasonable-length top.
8. Do wear sunscreen, because your chances of getting skin cancer increase without it.
7. Do wear those amazing gladiator sandals, but ...
6. Don’t wear them too long; leave that to the ancient Romans.
5. Do wear chic oversized sunglasses, but ...
4. Don’t get them so large that you look bug-eyed.
3. Do wear prints — a huge runway trend at the moment –– but ...
2. Don’t wear the same print from head to toe –– you don’t want to look like a tablecloth.
1. Do try the bohemian look, but try not to layer too much, or else you’ll be a hot hippie instead of an haute hippie.
Guys
10. Do dress for your size. If you’re short and you wear a long suit jacket, you might look like a dwarf.
9. Don’t wear a muscle shirt if you don’t have muscles; you’ll be uncomfortable, sweaty, and the bulges aren’t attractive.
8. Do wear sunscreen or lotion with SPF 15 or more so you can stay in the sun for longer periods of time. Sunscreen decreases your chances of getting skin cancer.
7. Don’t overdo it with multiple chains and a wrist full of watches when it comes to accessories.
6. Do wear sunglasses; they add an effortless touch of cool to your appearance.
5. Don’t wear Kanye West’s shutter shades, nor should you adopt Soulja Boy’s habit of writing across the lenses. Wear them only if you want to look like you got them from an 8-year-old’s birthday party goodie bag.
4. Don’t wear socks with your “mandals” (man sandals). If you know your toes will scare people, then pick a different pair of shoes. Otherwise, the socks will be scarier.
3. Don’t mix patterns, like stripes with plaid, because you’ll just look like a tablecloth thrown into a blender, but...
2. Do try patterned shorts with a solid shirt or vice versa.
1. Do wear bright colors. They don’t mean something about your sexuality, but they do say that you’re smart enough not to be burning up in dark colors.
