Teacher Resources

VOX is more than a newspaper, it's a great educational resource for high school classrooms. VOX features raw, unadulterated, and thoroughly researched and written articles by Atlanta-area teens. Teachers can use VOX as a tool to inject creativity and inspiration into their classrooms:

VOX Offers Tips for Teachers
A curriculum guide for high school teachers created by the Youth Communication Staff to provide creative teaching, based on stories written and published by teens in VOX newspapers. We publish eight issues of VOX throughout the school year which coincide with every month students are in school. Click here to download.

VOX Offers Your Students a Chance to Shine
As a teacher you know the importance of quality writing to your students' success. You probably also know that there is nothing more motivating to a budding writer than getting their his or her work published. VOX publishes a variety of students' work including:

  • Letters to the Editor
  • Poems
  • Editorials
  • Short Stories
Students need only to forward their permission for publication, name, age, school and contact information to:

Write to: "Letters to the Editor," 229 Peachtree St., Suite 725, Atlanta, GA 30303
or email to: vox@voxrox.org
