Sixteen year old Deontez Wimbley attends Columbia High School. After high school he plans on going to a HBCU (Historically Black College and University), such as Morehouse or Clark Atlanta University. Deontez is going to major in History and wants to become a history teacher. He would like to minor in Theology and Biblical studies, because he is now studying to become a minister. His inspirational figures are Dr. Cornelle West who teaches African American Studies at Harvard University and Bishop Paul Morton who is his spiritual leader and pastor.

Deontez has one sister and two brothers, Deontez is the oldest of the four. He runs track and swims. His favorite type of music is Gospel and one of his favorite artists is Marvin Sapp; he also likes to listen to R&B and a little Rap. His favorite book genre revolves mainly around romance novels such as “She’s no Angel”. Deontez loves to eat fruit; his favorite fruits are grapes and pineapples.

A random thing about Deontez that you may not know is that he is a Virgo. Many people call him “Preach”, because whenever he is explaining something or teaching, they describe it as preaching. He is a very talkative person and loves politics and the political system.
