Akure Imes

Akure Imes or Ah Koo-Koo is a 16-year-old journalist at VOX. Akure began her VOX training in September 2007. Her birthday is June 11, 1992, and she is a rising junior.

“Some of my talents are dancing, cooking, making jewelry and flirting,” Akure said. Some of her other hobbies are eating, listening to music, making hanging out with friends, and laughing. Akure may seem all loving to the naked eye, but her pet peeves include people putting their feet on her. She also dislikes when someone asks her the same question so that she will change her answer for their benefit.

She plans on learning how to learn a motorcycle and helping many people become comfortable. She has been a vegetarian all her life. Akure’s favorite quote is: Simplicity is the fine line between extravagant and plain.
