Thinh Vu

Thinh Vu is a fourteen year old boy from Bordeaux, France. He is of Vietnamese origin. He speaks a little French, has two brothers and a goldfish, and enjoys both banana split and mint chocolate ice cream. When asked about the meaning of his name, he recalls, “Someone told me it had something to do with fortune.”

Thinh is extremely energetic and quick-witted, thinking and moving at a pace that would make light’s constant speed blush. Thinh has a knack for breaking tension with humor and making people laugh at things that would otherwise be dull.

Thinh is an avid gamer; his favorite genres are RPGs (Role-Playing Games) and simulation games. At VOX he can generally be found playing games on the computer after quickly completing an assignment. His favorite game series is the popular Final Fantasy.

He has a favorite food as well: “Bacon; I haven’t had any in a while.” When he expresses this, a look of sheer hunger with a humorous undertone to it lights up his face. One would expect that his favorite place to be is probably some off-road diner that only he and a select handful know about. Actually, it’s “Alone at home.”

Knowing Thinh, he’d be pulling the Home Alone antics time and time again, giving Macaulay Culkin a run for his money.
