Yasmeen Kamal Malik was born January 7th 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama. “I visit my hometown twice a month,” she says. Yazi, as friends and family call her, says she has one older brother, Jacob, who is her best friend. Yazi’s parents are Pakistani. She speaks English, Hebrew and Arabic. Yazi’s favorite color is red and her favorite place to eat is Mellow Mushroom. She loves driving her red Mustang. An interesting fact about her is that she converted to Judaism in the sixth grade, while the rest of her family is still Muslim.
